Well yesterday I had a debate with my designer. The client wanted a simple web 2.0 concept kind of website and my designer felt that classics will always last a better impression.
Well I cannot disagree more but well we must understand that its about what the client wants not what we want. In many projects that I did, this was among the easiest project to handle because the client already knew what they want. This made our job easier as we don’t have to do the research and keep showing them concepts.
Web 2.0 designs are becoming a phenomenon these days. Will it be a passing trend and dies off as the web 3.0 emerges or even the GRID is coming…I wonder how it will look like in an era of distributed computing.

Recently I’ve helped Hairani to revamp her website www.nour.sg to turn it into a wordpress site. Now its easier to make amendments to it. Her site consist of the a blog and static pages including the iframe for the Multiply site. I had to do some custom codings for her.
Previously it was just a normal HTML site and Hairani does not know how to update or make changes. There were too many iframes also. Actually I got a shock when i saw the
codes the previous developer did for her. Anyway different people have different styles.
